Reinventing Government - Fast Bullets and Culture Changes

If you have not read this little gray booklet, by Robert P. Hillmann, may I suggest you do so? It is available for purchase ($15.00) or you may read it online.
It will give you an apoplectic fit, but it is worth reading as it gives, in detail, the history of the move toward the "new world order" via an exploration of the personal papers and documents of Quincy Wright, the University of Chicago professor of international law (in excess of 140 boxes of documents were researched, plus other sources). From the beginning of the 20th century to today; organizations, individuals, dates, and affiliations. Quite interesting information on the re-writing of textbooks, too.
One point of interest, on pp. 4-5, is this:
- "If, as Mechling, Osborne, and Gaebler assert, most government employees have no idea what reinventing government is all about, how is it that they play such a crucial role in its' implementation? The answer is quite simple. They read about it in magazines - magazines that are supplied to any government employee, from the chief clerk at the local town hall to the heads of government in Washington, D.C. ...Although there are numerous government trade journals and other such publications that deal with the subject, the three that directly address the issue of reengineering government are:
- Governing - "Governing" is a monthly magazine whose primary audience is state and local government officials: governors, legislators, mayors, city managers, council members and other elected, appointed and career officials.
Apparently our civil servants are being instructed from "on high" on how to run a city, state, and country. This doesn't appear to be "Local control," to OI
Government Technology - Like Governing magazine, this journal is also targeted towards state and local government employees. While it does discuss policy issues, its' main emphasis is on how to use information technologies to radically change government.
Government Executive - Directed toward federal government employees.
End of quote from booklet.
At Governing.Com, an interesting link to a paper was found, aimed at discussing "Visionary Mayors". This sounded intriguing. See if, when you read it, it seems familiar to you or similar to our mayor.

I wonder how many, if any, are questioning the sources of the articles and so-called "best practices", or do they just assume to be doing things.'?
Maybe the magazines just end up on break room tables... or maybe not.
Take care and blessings to all. I think we're going to need them.

Operation Information
Operation Information is the home website of a coalition of concerned citizens dedicated (determined) to uphold and support an educational system that stands on traditional, conservative American values. We are also determined to expose the city, state and federal agencies that have partnered with the United Nations to subjugate our American sovereignty
Our mission is to research and reveal teachings, methods, and/or curriculum that are contrary to these values. We will also endeavor to expose city, state and federal agencies that have betrayed the trust given to them by "We the People."
Our goal is to protect our children and the educational process, and to encourage the public to take a stand for what is right in both our public schools and city, state and federal entities.
We believe in a Biblical world view, teaching reading, writing and arithmetic, and the passing on of our American culture to our children. We also believe that federal control by any means (directly or indirectly) is unconstitutional.
Since as parents we pay for the schools, our children attend them, and we as parents are Biblically responsible for our children, local control of our schools/education of our children is not an option, it is mandatory. As parents and citizens we also pay taxes that are being misused by our elected officials for agendas that are contrary to our constitution.
